IGN found her to be "commanding" in her role and felt that the main characters were "played by one of Burton's best ensemble casts yet. In the horror film Wolf , she starred opposite Jack Nicholson , portraying the sardonic and willful interest of a writer who becomes a wolf-man at night after being bitten by a creature.
